SMT Mounting

Most printed circuit boards today are assembled using Surface Mount Technology (SMT). This method has largely replaced through-hole technology because it enables smaller, more tightly packed components, faster production cycles, and lower overall costs. At Fanway, we provide high-precision SMT assembly services utilizing advanced pick-and-place systems and automated optical inspection (AOI).

Our capabilities include mounting components ranging from 01005 chips (0.4 x 0.2 mm) to complex BGAs (±25μm). This ensures reliability for high-density designs across rapid prototyping and volume production.


Through-hole Assembly

Through-hole assembly is a method whereby component pins are inserted through holes in PCBs and soldered to the opposite side. This technology continues to play core role in certain applications. Fanway is equipped with advanced automated insertion machines, wave soldering systems, and manual soldering stations to meet customers' requirements.


Testing and Packaging

To ensure printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) quality control, we have in-house Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to detect faulty or misplaced components. We are also equipped with an X-ray inspection system that enables our technicians to identify subsurface defects efficiently. Our expert technicians specialize in custom PCB fabrication and assembly services.

All assembled PCBAs are individually packed in ESD-safe bags and securely placed in protective boxes for shipment.
